This is a talk for all ages, whether you are interested in art and art history or not, get an insight into the mind of a portrait artist and come along to this great evening. What way to kick off our programme of events in 2018!
Refreshments included in door price and a raffle in aid of village hall funds will be held at the end of the evening.
On Friday 17th November, the village hall was packed for another visit from the Thornton Dale Ukelele group.
Not an evening to simply sit back and watch – oh no. The audience was definitely needed to participate too! It was a fun, toe-tapping, tambourine-jangling, kazoo-playing, maraca-shaking evening. Thank you to John Scoble and his very talented group of players who took the time to come out and entertain us all!
The second Ebberston Defibrillator Community Training Evening took place on Thursday 16 November (2017) at the village hall led by YAS paramedic Mark Wright and his wife Helen, a community first responder. An excellent training session, thank you Mark & Helen!
We are very pleased to welcome back the Thornton le Dale Ukulele Players to the village hall on 17th November. Your feet will tap, you very well may sing and you might even get a chance to play yourself. Everyone welcome.
In advance of the training evening, there will be a short ceremony outside Ebberston village hall to launch the defibrillator.
The launchwill be at 6.45 p.m. immediately before the training session inside the hall (starting 7.00 p.m.)
Everyone is invited to attend both the launch and the training session.
Hot off the press. Our posters are going out this week. They might be a bit more colourful though!
A date for your diaries. Just an hour or so of fun – let’s hope for sun!
