Thank you Ebberston

Posted on behalf of Sarah Walker

I’ve just dropped off the second Ryedale Foodbank collection from Ebberston.  The village response has been amazing again.  The car boot was full. The photo shows all the donations sorted and labelled.  People are being so generous and thoughtful in their donations.  Rob from the Foodbank has asked specifically that their thanks is passed onto everyone who has donated.

Wonderful response again. Thanks very much.

Foodbank Donations from Ebberston residents

Thank you very much to everyone who donated to the Ebberston Ryedale Food Bank collection so generously. The donations box was filled twice over. The car boot was full when the goods were sorted and labelled ready for delivery.

The next Collection will be on Friday 5 June. The box for donations is located at the Chapel.

Help Ryedale Foodbank

Due to the current Covid-19 situation, the demand on Ryedale Food Bank is growing and we’d like to help.

Ebberston Chapel has agreed to become a collection point for donations which will be taken to the Food Bank in Norton and distributed from there.  There is a box for donations outside the Chapel.

Items needed:

Breakfast Cereals * Pasta * Rice * Pasta Sauce * Soup * Tinned Beans * Tinned Meat * Tinned Vegetables * Tinned Fruit * UHT Milk * Tea * Coffee * Sugar * Biscuits * Snacks * Sanitary Products

A list is also on the Chapel noticeboard, the village website (www.ebberstonvillage.wordpress.com) and copies are available in the collection box.

The first collection will be made on Friday 22 May and weekly thereafter.  Donations will be very gratefully received – please make sure that items are well within their sell by/best before date.
